Each line is a link from the research register: the threat where the line starts worsens the threat where the arrow ends. The line style shows the link type: solid for a supported mechanism, dashed for a conditional link, dotted for a scenario or modelled link. Select a threat to see what it worsens directly (step 1: bright links, threats marked 1) and what those threats worsen in turn (step 2: dimmed links, hollow threats marked 2).
Links: Apocalypse Clock research register of 25 Sep 2026, 101 directed links, plus one link added on 25 Sep 2026 at the owner’s request and marked “added”: Soil & Food System → Antimicrobial Resistance, supported mechanism. Antimicrobial use in livestock and aquaculture selects resistant bacteria that reach people through food, contact and the environment, and restricting that use reduces resistance (WHO guidelines on antimicrobials in food-producing animals, 2017; Tang et al., Lancet Planetary Health 2017). Link types are labels, not probabilities, weights or independent scientific validation. Step-2 links are not new direct influences of the selected threat, separate paths are not added together, and only worsening pathways are shown, not mitigating responses. Moving dots show only the direction of influence; their speed has no meaning. The checkboxes in the summary card hide link types everywhere except the table; feedback loops are directed cycles of two or three shown links. Node size: the model’s adjusted priority; in the dashboard it follows the selected scenario and weights, and this file opened alone uses model 1.5.0, dataset 1.9.0, Baseline scenario, Expert weights. The model’s clocks still use the dataset’s own 71 declared dependencies.
